Recycled Tyre Rubber Granules
Supply
In 1990, the engineers at Charles Lawrence International discovered that the rubber used for truck tyres has ideal properties for manufacturing many types of synthetic sports and playground surfaces.
The following year the company opened a £1.5 million plant which pioneered the conversion of scrap commercial vehicle tyres into rubber granules.
Service
Since its first commissioning the recycling plant has continually been redesigned, upgraded and optimised to ensure reliability and minimise downtime.
The current capacity of up to 20,000 tonnes of tyres a year ensures we have the ability to supply large quantities of materials.
Large stocks of the six standard grades are held for immediate despatch.
Quality
Charles Lawrence International accepts only truck and bus tyres for processing as these produce the best quality granules for many types of surfaces and other applications.
Full quality controls are in place throughout the whole recycling process and particle size distribution in the final granulate is strictly controlled against product specifications.
Charles Lawrence International is producing to PAS107 and working towards ISO14001 accreditations.
End of life tyres are one of the most intractable scrap products of the modern age because of their bulk and virtual indestructibility. Disposal by landfill or by incineration has negative effects on the environment. By recycling tyres into useful secondary raw materials Charles Lawrence International also make a significant contribution to environmental clean up.
Packing
Recycled tyre granules are held in stock in 25kg poly bags.
Full pallets contain 40 x 25kg sacks (1000 kgs).
