New Colouring Plant Being Installed

Charles Lawrence International continues its commitment to be the UK's No 1 complete material supplier to the sports and play surfacing contractor with a new investment in colour coating equipment.

The coating plant currently being commissioned will be able to colour coat both recycled EPDM and SBR granules as well as tyre tread shreds from the retreading process.

The process encapsulates the recycling black granules in a tough PU polymer coloured with non toxic synthetic pigments giving a lower cost coloured product.

Initially CLI will produce four colours specifically chosen to reflect the natural landscape.
